Concept design is two fold. Firstly, it can be used to better portray a product before development when presenting to investors or users. Secondly, it is a phase in the design process in which designers are trying different directions for a product.
How we do it

We do both. We ensure pitch decks and presentations to clients have supporting concept designs to sell the vision - seeing is believing. But we also ensure we do a lot of concept work up front in product design to ensure we get to the right solution, not just a solution.
